Clearly as an IT human resources partner we have our consultants on assignments all over the world. When recruiting, be it for an open-ended or fixed-term contract, we do so on the basis of searching and finding the “best in class”, wherever they may be currently located. This global approach to recruiting requires a very sophisticated “logistics” support department.

To that end we therefore consider the following points as essential to our 'Total Quality Management' service deliverable for consultants:

  • All assigned consultants will have any required work and residence permits prior to starting and will be totally compliant with regards to legal and fiscal issues.
  • We issue sophisticated 'Consultant Care Programmes' specific to each country covering in-house produced briefing packs, local practices and legal requirements, accommodation, localised payroll and tax planning, insurance needs etc.
  • Once the consultant arrives in the country of assignment (assuming of course that there are no locally available personnel) the Back-Office team organise temporary accommodation, spend time with the consultant finding apartments, translating tenancy agreements, car rental documents, opening local bank accounts, arranging schooling for children and all issues to ensure a smooth and effective transition.

This approach ensures that our consultants can concentrate on fulfilling our clients' requirements with a 100% focus, knowing that their non-work needs have been planned and catered for. A side benefit is that such an onerous workload does not fall on our clients' own support personnel.
